Suzuki’s latest iteration of the GSX-R1300, or popularly known as the Hayabusa, has been released for the Indian market. The 2017 version essentially comes with new colour options and no further changes to mechanicals. New colour options available are Glass Sparkle Black / Pearl Glacier White (AGT), Pearl Vigor Blue / Glass Sparkle Black (BBD) and Glass Sparkle Black (YVB). Available at Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) Big Bike dealerships the 2017 Hayabusa costs Rs 13,88,329 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Hayabusa is imported in India as a CKD (Completely Knock Down) kit and gets assembled by Suzuki India technicians. This means you get to pay less and acquire this legendary hyper bike for a lot lesser than a full import. A tower of power, Hayabusa’s 1,340cc in-line four cylinder engine puts out about 197bhp of power through a 6-speed constant mesh transmission. A hyper sport tourer this comfortable missile is known for chewing kilometres and being utterly reliable motorcycle. Braking is handled by Brembo monobloc callipers at the front paired with a lightweight ABS system.

Aerodynamic body styling keeps wind blast away from the rider. Also Bridgestone 120mm front and 190mm rear tyres perform very well on our diverse surface conditions. For further enhancement of riding performance, Suzuki drive mode selector (S-DMS) lets you choose between 3 engine maps suiting riding conditions which can be from straight highways to curving mountain roads. All in all this hyper bike very well fulfils the sport bike rider in you who also wants something to cruise comfortable covering long distances, and that too at a very attractive price. New colours for 2017 make it a further sweet deal.
