Triumph Motorcycles is seriously working towards upgrading their present line-up. Though their 2016 models will be introduced with few cosmetic changes but the 2017 models will be launched with a slew of upgrades. Be the new Daytona, Speed Triple or Bonneville series of motorcycles, Triumph will be introducing the 2017 models with major changes. Recently an upcoming Tiger Sport 1050 was spotted getting tested in Europe. The 2017-spec Tiger Sport is updated keeping in mind the ‘Euro 4’ clean exhaust emission standards. Cosmetically, the new Tiger was snapped with the similar motor with a new clutch cover.
Mechanically, it is believed that the new Tiger will come with updated electronic throttle and potential changes to the cams, valves and combustion chamber architecture, switchable riding modes and traction control. The catalytic convertor is moved forward in the revised exhaust and the updated Tiger will also feature a small bellypan. The spied Tiger was caught wearing a new faring that looked different from the present motorcycles. Though this is a 2017 model, it will be introduced by mid 2016 by the British manufacturer. The Tiger series of motorcycles goes against other adventure tourers like KTM 1050 Adventure, Suzuki V-Strom and BMW GS 1200.
