The 45th Tokyo Motor Show will be held by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association at Tokyo Big Sight. It will be a 10-day event and will be held from October 27, 2017 (Friday) to November 5, 2017 (Sunday). It will be based in the theme of ‘Beyond the Motor”.
The participants of the event include all the 15 brands from 14 Japanese manufacturers and 19 other brands from 13 other international manufacturers. There will be a total of 153 organisations and manufacturers who will be participating in this comprehensive motor event. Moreover, this event will include commercial vehicles, motorcycles, tools and machinery and vehicle bodies along with passenger cars. The participants will be from 10 different countries.
The Chairman of JAMA and the President of Nissan Motor Company, Hiroto Saikawa, has said that the organising committee hopes to make this the world’s best technology show and wants all the visitors to see how good the Japanese companies are in the field of technology.
The event will also have a signature event in the form of Tokyo Connected Lab 2017. This signature event will provide an opportunity to the experience the new values and connectivity which are created by the mobile society of the future.
Before the 45th Tokyo Motor Show is opened officially for the visitors, the first two days of the event, that is, October 25 and 26 will be exclusively for the journalists.
