The Ducati Monster 821Stealth was another surprise reveal at an event in Milan prior to the 2018 EICMA kickoff on 06th November 2018.
The main highlights are the mechanical improvisations such as the Ducati Quick Shift (DQA) system and the fully adjustable 43 mm Kayaba inverted front telescopic fork and extra hardware will enhance the riding experience enormously.
The new Ducati baby will get a colour-coordinated pillion seat cover a stylish visor just above the headlamp. True to its name, it comes in a matte black paint job and attractive grey and red accents.
Largely, everything else on the bike remains the same. Its Testastretta L-Twin engine is fitted to a 6-speed gearbox to churn 109 PS and 86 Nm of max torque. Interestingly, for buyers in Europe with a restricted A2 license, a detuned version with an output of 35 KW (around 47 PS) will be on offer.
The Ducati Monster 821 Stealth will come with alternate riding and power modes. This modern street fighter will also come with Ducati Traction Control (DTC), TFT Color display USB power socket and Bosch 9.1 ABS.
The latest edition of the Ducati Monster weighs at 180.5 kg (dry weight) with an adjustable seat. Its height can be adjusted between 785 mm and 810 mm. The 17-inch alloy wheels are enclosed in 120/70 ZR 17 front and 180/55 ZR 17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres.
Price of the new variant of the entry-level Monster range from Ducati is yet to be disclosed. The Indian market will probably have to wait until sometime in 2019. The Ducati Monster 821 will be pitted against the Yamaha MT-09 and Kawasaki Z900.
