Ford India launched the 2018 Aspire face-lift in India at a starting price of Rs 5.55 lakh and goes up to a range of Rs 8.49 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). The new model is available in 5 trims - Ambiente, Trend, Trend+, Titanium and Titanium+. Ford is also offering an automatic variant in the Titanium variant. The new version of the aspire gets many changes to exterior styling and is offered in seven exterior colours - White Gold, Smoke Grey, Moondust Silver, Ruby Red, Absolute Black Deep Impact Blue and Oxford White. Moreover, the new Aspire is the only compact sedan to be offered with a 5 year or 100,000Km warranty that includes 2-year manufacturer’s warranty and 3-year extended warranty.

Under the bonnet, the new version offers a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine from Ford’s dragon family that makes 96bhp with 120Nm of torque, the same 1.5-litre diesel unit that makes 99bhp but has been tuned to slightly raise the mileage to 26.1kmpl from 25.83kmpl.These both engine get a new 5-speed manual gearbox. Ford has also added a bigger 1.5-litre petrol unit same that also serves the EcoSport and will be available with a 6-speed automatic transmission only.
Ford Aspire Ambiente
Petrol variant – Rs 5.55 lakh
Diesel variant – Rs 6.45 lakh
The base variant – Ambient comes packed with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, front row seatbelt reminder, adjustable front and rear seat headrests, rear parking sensors, manual AC, front power windows, 12V outlet and fabric seats.
Ford Aspire Trend
Petrol variant – Rs 5.99 lakh
Diesel variant – Rs 6.89 lakh
The Trend variant will come equipped with body-coloured door handles and wing mirrors, integrated turn indicators of ORVMs, all four power windows, radio with USB, Bluetooth and four speakers, rear seat centre armrest, gear shift indicator, keyless entry, tachometer, passenger side vanity mirror and boot lamp.
Ford Aspire Trend+
Petrol variant – Rs 6.39 lakh
Diesel variant – Rs 7.29 lakh
The new Aspire Trend+ variant will boast of equipments like front fog lamps, 7.0 inch capacitive touchscreen infotainment system, rear defogger and automatic climate control.
Ford Aspire Titanium
Petrol MT variant – Rs 6.79 lakh
Diesel MT variant – Rs 7.69 lakh
Petrol AT variant – Rs 8.49 lakh
Ford is offering the bigger 1.5L petrol engine on the Titanium variant will offers features like chrome surround on the grille and push Push button start, whereas the features like the Hill start assist, ESP and Traction control will be offered on the Automatic variant only and a 6-speed a.utomatic gearbox with the bigger 1.5L petrol only.
Ford Aspire Titanium+
Petrol variant – Rs 7.24 lakh
Diesel variant – Rs 8.14 lakh
The Titanium+ comes packed with up to six airbags that includes - dual front, side and curtain airbags, a 6.5 inch capacitive touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, emergency assistance service, Ford Sync3 and Dual USB ports.
