Ford, the American automaker has revealed the latest version of the popular Mustang Bullitt at the 2018 Detroit Motor Show. The previous two editions of the Mustang were launched in the year 2001 and 2008. It was named as Mustang Bullitt for paying tribute to the 1968 thriller movie, Bullitt, which starred Steve Mcqueen and was best known for its car chase scenes featuring the same power-packed car.

It sports 19-inch ‘torque thrust’ alloy wheels with disc brakes and gets a black front grille. Inside the car, there is a heated leather steering wheel and a green-themed digital instrument cluster.
A performance exhaust system, open air induction system and a Shelby GT350 intake manifold are some of the other technical features incorporated into the car. The car also packs leather-trimmed Recaro sports seats and the Bullitt Electronics Package that comes with features like navigation, driver memory seats and mirrors, sat-nav and blind spot monitoring.

It claims to attain a maximum speed of 262 kmph, which is 13 kmph more than the previous Bullitt edition. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
