2018 Hero Super Splendor, Passion Pro and Passion XPRO Unveiled

Hero MotoCorp, the home-grown two-wheeler manufacturer, has unveiled three new motorcycles - the 125cc Super Splendor, the 110cc Passion Pro and the 110cc Passion XPRO - for the Indian market. The aforementioned motorcycles would be launched in a phase-wise manner, starting January 2018. The company is already the dominant leader in the 100-125cc segments with its existing products - Splendor, Passion, HF Deluxe, Glamour and Super Splendor. All the three motorcycles come with both drum and disc variants.

Speaking of the new Hero Passion Pro, it comes with new muscular fuel tank with flush type cap & modern and sleek signature rear tail lamp. In addition, it boasts of several contemporary features in form of Digital-Analog meter with digital fuel gauge, trip meter, All Time Headlamp On (AHO) and side stand indicator as standard. The motorcycle would be available in five color schemes: Sports Red, Black monotone, Force silver metallic, Heavy grey metallic and Frost blue metallic. Hero Passion Pro is powered by BS-IV compliant 110cc TOD (torque on demand) engine which develops maximum power of 9.4bhp at 7500rpm and peak torque of 9Nm at 5500rpm. It also features Hero's i3S (Idle-stop-start system), while having 12 percent more power and torque than its predecessor with 0-60kmph sprint time of 7.45 seconds.

Coming to the new Hero Passion XPRO, it flaunts a new sharper fuel tank with flash fuel lid, dynamic shrouds, sporty real cowl, dual-tone mirrors, LED tail lamp and Digital-Analog meter with digital fuel gauge as standard. All Time Headlamp On (AHO) & i3S (Idle-Start-Stop system) also makes it to the list of standard fitments. Identical to the Passion Pro, it is also powered by the same 110cc BS-IV compliant engine which churns out 9.4bhp at 7500rpm and 9Nm at 5500rpm. The motorcycle offers 12 percent more power and torque than the previous-generation model, while doing a 0-60kmph sprint in just 7.45 seconds. Hero Passion XPRO would be available in five dual-tone colors: Sports red with black, Black with sports red, Black with techno Blue, Black with heavy grey and Force silver with black.

Last but by no means the least, the new Super Splendor gets several exciting features in form of Chrome finish muffler, sleep tail light, silver finish side cover, trapezoidal headlamp and modern graphics. In addition, the bike also comes with All Time Headlamp On (AHO), Side Stand Indicator, Wider Rear Tyre, updated seat profile and side reflector, largest under seat storage in class with additional storage in front under the tank etc. to name a few. As for the colors, the Hero Super Splendor is available in five metallic shades: Black with purple graphics, Black with fiery red graphics, Black with silver graphics, Candy blazing red and Heavy grey with blue graphics. The commuter is powered by a new air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC 125cc TOD engine with Hero i3S technology which generates maximum power of 8.4bhp at 7500rpm and highest torque of 11Nm at 6000rpm. It is 27 percent more powerful and 6 percent more torquey than the preceding model, while having a top speed of 94kmph.
