Honda is planning to launch the 2018 Jazz facelift in India, soon and very first images of the model in its uncovered has been spied. The images clearly speak that the new version will get some minor tweaks, unlike the International model, which is a refreshed one. Moreover, the international-spec model’s styling with larger bumper makes it lengthier than 4 metres, which might be a reason that Honda isn't offering the same one in India. Earlier, we informed you that the 2018 Honda Jazz will be offered in two petrol and three diesel variants.
Talking about the exterior, the face of the 2018 Honda Jazz facelift gets the same glossy-black trim with a silver accent on the grille, headlamp clusters, front bumper with inverted V-shaped air-dam and circular fog lights. It seems rear end also untouched with vertical tail lights, extending onto the C-pillar. On the inside, the interior layout is just like the outgoing model, however, it gets some the updates like a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel that now gets buttons on both sides, engine start/stop button, power tail gate, cruise control, front centre armrest and an updated infotainment system as well.
Under the bonnet, the Honda Jazz facelift will continue to be offered with the same set of powertrains - 1.2-litre petrol engine with 89bhp of maximum power and 110Nm of torque, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes 99bhp with 200Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties will be carried out a 5-speed manual and CVT with paddle shifts for the petrol variants, while the diesel version would come with a 6-speed manual only.
