More details have emerged on the upcoming 2018 Hyundai Creta SUV that is set to launch in India soon. The scans of the product presentation module have surfaced on the inter-web, revealing details deeming variants, features and colour options on the facelifted Hyundai Creta. According to the leaked information, the new Hyundai Creta will be available in five variants including E, E+, S, SX and SX (O) with seven single tone colour options (Polar White, Sleek Silver, Phantom Black, Stardust, Fiery Red, Passion Orange and Marina Blue). In addition to these, the SUV will also be offered with two dual-tone colour schemes-Polar White with Phantom Black and Passion Orange with Phantom Black.
On the outside, the front features bi-functional projector headlamps with LED DRLs, Hyundai’s quintessential cascading radiator grille and dual tone bumper with skid plate. The lower variants get 16.0-inch alloys, whereas the higher trims come with 17.0 inchers. At the back, there are reworked split tail-lamps and a new bumper with redesigned reflectors.
Changes have also been made to the interiors as it gets new seat fabric and AC vents with metallic finish. The dual-tone variants additionally get an orange colour interior pack.
On the feature front, goodies such as a wearable ‘Smart Key Brand’, 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat, electric sunroof, wireless charging and cruise control will be restricted to the top-spec trim barring the sunroof which will also be offered with the SX variant.
The SUV will remain unchanged on the mechanical front with the same 1.6-litre petrol and diesel units along with the 1.4-litre oil burner powering the range. Transmission choices will include the 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic units. According to the leaked document, the Hyundai Creta could be priced between 9.47 lakh to Rs 15.07 lakh (ex-showroom).
