The 2018 Indian Chieftain Elite is the second model to be launched here after the Indian Roadmaster Elite was introduced earlier this year at a price tag of Rs 48 lakh. Speaking about the newly launched motorcycle, it dons an eye-catching paint scheme dubbed as Black Hills Silver and gets marble accenting. As the brand says, the bespoke paintwork needs 25 hours to be completed.

The 2018 Indian Chieftain Elite comes with the brand’s Ride Command Infotainment system incorporating a 7-inch touchscreen integrated with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. Also, there is a 200-watt premium audio system as well. Apart from that, the motorcycle features custom stitched premium leather seats and aluminium footboards.

Power source of the 2018 Indian Chieftain Elite is the same 1,811 cc Thunderstroke 111 V-twin engine that works on standard Chieftain. This engine churns out massive 161.6 Nm of torque output, which is 11.6 Nm higher than the standard Chhieftain. There are twin 300 mm disc brakes at front and a single 300 mm rear disc brake delivering stopping power to the 388 kg motorcycle. It runs on 19-inch front and 16-inch rear tyres. For suspension duty, the motorcycle uses 119 mm telescopic front forks and 114 mm monoshock absorber at rear.
