Maruti Suzuki will debut its most awaited product, the all-new Swift at the upcoming Auto Expo in India. The Swift continues to feature among the top five best selling cars in the country for over a decade. The new model is built on the 5th generation 'HEARTECT' platform that gives more strength and rigidity and improves the power to weight ratio. The new version would be wider, more spacious from inside and has good space for luggage as well. The new Swift will be offered in 6 trim levels for both the engine options - LXi, VXi, ZXi, ZXi+, LDi, VDi, ZDi and ZDi+ offered with 5-speed manual transmission, while VXi, ZXi and VDi, ZDi trims would also get an option of AMT.

Exterior wise, the all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift is 40 mm wider, giving a bold and a muscular appearance along with a longer wheelbase by 20mm, giving more cabin space and 24mm more headroom. In fact, being larger than its outgoing model, it is 40 Kgs lighter. It gets single-aperture front grille design, floating roof, wrap around windows and windshield with unified DLO (day light opening) graphic, sleek projector headlamps with DRLs and would rids on precision cut two-tone alloy wheels.
On the inside, the all-new Swift will welcome you with a driver-oriented cockpit design, flat bottom steering and decent use of chrome accents, reverse parking camera and SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. For the safety, the all-new Swift will come packed with Dual airbags and ABS with EBD and ISOFIX (child seat restraint system) are standard and Suzuki’s Total Effective Control Technology (TECT) for occupant protection and complies with frontal offset and side impact regulations and meets advanced regulations for pedestrian safety.
Under the hood, the all-new Swift hatchback back will be offered with the same set of powertrains – 1.2-litre K12 VVT engine with 83bhp and 113Nm torque and the 1.3-litre DDiS 190 diesel unit that makes 75bhp with 190Nm. Maruti Suzuki has now added Auto Gear Shift (AGS) technology in both petrol and diesel trims.
