Land Rover is going to officially launch the 2018 Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport in India tomorrow. The updated Range Rover come priced at Rs 99.48 lakh and Range Rover Sport gets a price tag of Rs 1.74 crore (ex-showroom, India). They come visually stylish and technologically more upgraded compared to the predecessors.
Speaking about the updated Range Rover and the Rage Rover Sport, they are influenced by the Range Rover Velar. The identical design language is clearly visible through the Pixel-laser LED headlamps blended perfectly into the new glossy black front grille, updated front and rear bumpers. Apart from that, the new Range Rover series also get tweaked and more stylish LED insert at taillights. These minor design changes have given the 2018 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport a very appealing design.
Not only exterior, cabin of these two models get new Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with dual large 10-inch touchscreens, a feature borrowed from the Range Rover Velar. Also, there are updated front seats with heated armrests, 17 connecting points for charging and multimedia playing purpose. There are other features including gesture controlled sun blinds, 4G Wi-Fi hotspot to cater up to 8 devices, adaptive cruise control and Queue Assist Function.
The new Range Rover and Range Rover Sport are expected to receive a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine capable of churning out 254 bhp of peak power, while there will be a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine as well that kicks out 517 bhp of peak power. Transmission duty will be done by an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
