Bajaj Auto - the homegrown motorcycle manufacturer is prepping up to launch the 2019 Bajaj Dominar. The 2019 edition of the brand's flagship motorcycle has received various cosmetic and mechanical changes. Dealers have also started accepting bookings for the new bike at a sum of Rs. 5,000. Through the images surfaced online that seems to be the product manual for Bajaj dealers, it is clear that the 2019 Bajaj Dominar's engine has been tuned to churn out more power out of the same 373.3 cc mill.
The power cruiser started making headlines when Bajaj came up with their new TV commercial. A USD front forks and a twin-exit exhaust muffler were quite visible in the commercial. The prototypes spotted earlier in Ladakh revealed an updated instrument cluster, the tank mounted secondary information unit will now display the gear position, time and sports the odometer as well. The information carried out by the secondary unit earlier, is now being taken care of by the handlebar mounted primary instrument panel.

One of the important changes in 2019 Bajaj Dominar is that it now churns out 39.9hp at 8,650 rpm - an increase of 4.9hp from the earlier 35hp at 8,000 rpm. However, the torque figures remain the same as the ongoing model - 35Nm available at 7,000 rpm. The change in the power figures points at the speculation that Bajaj might have introduced the DOHC set up in 2019 Dominar.
2019 Bajaj Dominar carries the same 6-speed transmission as seen on the ongoing model and other features like twin channel ABS, tubeless tyres, 13 litres of fuel capacity and a slipper clutch are also being carried over by the 2019 edition. There is no official word on the pricing as of now, but, we expect it to be around Rs. 1.8 lakh (ex-showroom) with respect to the additions made by Bajaj on its flagship motorcycle.
