Bajaj Auto is busy updating its entire range with safety net including ABS and CBS to meet the upcoming safety norms. After introducing the Pulsar 220 and Pulsar 180 with ABS, the company is now gearing up for the launch of Pulsar 150 twin-disc. In fact, the 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 150 twin-disc with ABS has been spotted at a dealership warehouse.

Similar to the bigger siblings, the 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 150 ABS twin disc variant comes with a single-channel ABS system. The single-channel ABS is cheaper than the dual-channel ABS unit. The standard model without ABS is priced at Rs 80,794 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is expected that the ABS equipped model would cost Rs 6,000 more than the standard model. It is likely to be priced around Rs 87,000 to 90,000.

The 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc will also receive a rear lift-off protection as standard, which helps in avoiding the back wheel from lifting up while heavy braking. The braking system of the bike comprises of a 260mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear. The bike comes with an engine cowl that offers a sporty look to the motorcycle.

It will continue with the existing colour options. The motorcycle will be powered by the same 149cc, 4-stroke, 2-valve, twin spark, air-cooled, DTS-i engine. This engine is capable of producing 14PS of maximum power at 8,000rpm and 13.4Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox.

For suspension mechanism, the 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 150 ABS Twin Disc will get conventional telescopic fork at the front and gas charged twin shock absorbers at the rear. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloys shod with 90/90-17 and 120/90-17 tubeless tyres at the front and rear respectively.
