The German luxury car manufacturer, BMW has finally launched its all-new BMW 7 Series in India, priced between Rs 1.23 Crore to Rs 2.43 Crore ( both are ex-showroom prices). The BMW Luxo barge will come in 6 variants and will be available in a long-wheelbase version.
Talking of the BMW 7 Series Facelift exterior, it receives a new imposing grille that is 47% bigger than earlier and 12mm larger logo. Besides, the 7 Series gets a new bumper with LED-connected tail lights. The 18-20 inch alloy wheels with optional run-flat tyres make the luxury sedan look more stylish. The top-spec variants get Sky Lounge feature along with 15,000 illuminated graphics which comes embedded in the glass panel.

The 2019 BMW 7 Series interior features a new steering wheel with reworked control layout. The Nappa leather seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with BMW iDrive unit and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster are some impressive interior additions in the 7 Series Facelift. A 10.2-inch BlueRay two tiltable units are an excellent addition for the rear occupants. Coming to the safety features of the new BMW 7 Series, it comprises of ABS with EBD, dynamic braking lights, dual front, head and side airbags, traction control, cornering braking control, electric parking brakes, and tyre pressure monitoring system.
Speaking of the powertrain options, the Indian-spec BMW 7 Series Facelift comes in 730Ld, 740Li, 745Le and M760Li trims. It gets one plug-in hybrid, two petrol and one diesel options. All engine comes paired to eight-speed Steptronic automatic gearbox. The BMW 7 Series 745Le xDrive is the plug-in hybrid model that generates a max power of 384 hp and a combined torque of 600 Nm. This plug-in hybrid variant sprints from 0-100kmph in merely 5.3 seconds and has a top speed of 140kmph. It takes around 8 to 12 hours to fully charge the batteries.
Talking of the BMW 7 Series 740Li, it comes powered with a 3.0-litre in-line turbocharged six-cylinder engine that generates 250PS power and 450Nm torque. The 740Li diesel variant gets a 3.0-litre turbocharged in-line engine, which produces 265PS power and 620Nm torque. The M760Li XDrive has a 6.6-litre V12 engine that cranks out a max power of 609PS and a peak torque of 850Nm.
