BMW launched its flagship SUV, the X7 in the global markets a few months back and the SUV is awaiting its India debut. BMW X7 is spotted in Pune recently, the spy shots showcase a BMW X7 being carried on a truck. The X7 is probably under homologation process, which hints at the possibility of an imminent launch of the vehicle in the Indian market.
BMW launched a number of updated and next-gen versions of its vehicles in India, including the X4, 530i M Sport and Z4. BMW is working towards updating its entire product line-up in India. BMW X7 is based on the stretched version of X5's platform. The X7 is BMW's biggest SUV ever in terms of size and cabin space. It weighs around 2.3 tonnes, making it the heaviest in its segment.

BMW X7 is offered with a 3.0-litre, in-line six-cylinder petrol and diesel options. The petrol engine is capable of churning out 350 bhp of max power and the diesel engine makes 256 bhp of peak power and a massive 620 Nm of peak torque. The X7 is also offered with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, capable of churning out an enormous 450 bhp. The vehicle spotted in Pune is the petrol variant of BMW X7. The engine across variants is married to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Speaking of the exteriors, the BMW X7 features the iconic kidney grilles, now bigger. It also sports all-new, slim headlights with stylish DRLs, power adjustable OVRMs and new LED tail lamps. The interiors of the X7 will certainly glorify the meaning of comfort and luxury. The captain seats are big, comfortable and draped in high-quality leather. The instrument cluster will feature the idrive technology which comes with hand and gesture controls. There's no official word on the pricing of the X7, but it will be priced around Rs 1.18 crore. When launched, it will rival the Mercedes GLS.
