Ducati launched the 2019 edition of Hypermotard 950 at Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in India today. The updated edition of the supermoto was first showcased at the EICMA 2018 - Milan. The 2019 Ducati Hypermotard 950 gets revised styling, lighter chassis, iconic under seat dual exhaust mufflers, a premium electronic kit, riding ergonomics and the motor now makes more power and torque than the outgoing model. The Hypermotard 950 also gets a 4.3-inch full-colour TFT screen.

The 2019 Ducati Hypermotard 950 gets propulsion from an updated 937cc twin-cylinder Testastretta 11° engine that produces more power than its predecessor. The motor churns out 114 bhp of peak power at 9,000 rpm and 96.1 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The twin-cylinder motor has also shed around 1.5 kg, making the supermoto more agile and nimble. Overall, the 2019 Hypermotard 950 is 4 kg lighter than the outgoing model, this has been achieved by using a lighter steel trellis frame, new rims, brake discs with aluminium flanges and lightweight Marzocchi USD forks.

Speaking of the suspension setup, the 2019 Hypermotard 950 is equipped with fully adjustable 45 mm Marzocchi USD forks with 170 mm of wheel travel and the rear suspension is sourced from Sachs which provides the motorcycle with 150 mm of wheel travel. Anchoring department on the Hypermotard 950 packs two 320 mm discs with radial mounted Monobloc Brembo callipers at the front and a 245 mm disc at the rear. The supermoto sails on 17-inchers shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III rubber.

The 2019 edition of Ducato Hypermotard 950 is equipped with a comprehensive electronics kit which includes - Bosch 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (6D IMU), Bosch Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control EVO, Ducati Wheelie Control EVO, Ducati Quick Shift (accessory). The 4.3-inch full-colour TFT display is inspired from the Ducati Panigale V4 and it is equipped with Ducati Multimedia System which allows the rider to control information like calls, messages and music control via Bluetooth Connectivity. Bookings for the 2019 Ducati Hypermotard 950 are open on all Ducati dealerships.
