Ford India is all set to launch the Endeavour facelift on February 22, 2019 in the country. However, prior to official launch, the updated SUV has been spotted in flesh. The 2019 Ford Endeavour facelift would come with an array of cosmetic updates - both outside as well as inside the cabin, while retaining the same diesel powertrain. The company has initiated the dealer dispatch of the facelifted model and demo vehicles can be spotted at Ford dealerships across the nation, while bookings can be made at a token amount of Rs 1 Lakh.
Going by the images, the 2019 Endeavour facelift will flaunt a new chrome grille with projector headlamps and L-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The front bumper, as evident in images, gets a silver insert with fog lamps on both sides and a scuff plate. Speaking of the side profile, the facelifted SUV will have chrome surroundings near the ORVMs which come with integrated turn signals. It will ride on new dual-tone alloy wheels, while the door handles will also be finished in chrome with blackened B and C-pillars. Roof rails, roof spoiler and rear wiper will be offered as standard fitments. As for the rear-end of the SUV, the company is offering wraparound tail-lamp cluster with chrome lining on the tail gate. The rear bumper has a silver insert, which houses the rear fog lamps.
Inside the cabin, it is mostly identical to the ongoing model with the dual-tone dashboard and the touchscreen infotainment system in the middle. However, it is being learnt that this time around the new SUV can get an 8-way power adjustable front passenger seat feature. The engine start/stop button will be retained from the current model while instead of two USB ports that the current model has, the facelifted SUV will have just one power outlet. Mechanically, the 2019 Ford Endeavour facelift will be powered by the 3.2L diesel engine which will be linked to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The engine will churn out top power of 197bhp at 3000rpm and peak torque of 470Nm at 1750-2500rpm.
