Hero MotoCorp is on a spree of launching all-new as well as updated products this year. It's just the 5th month of the year and the homegrown company has already launched three products in the Indian market, namely - Hero Xpulse 200, Hero Xpulse 200T and the sporty Hero Xtreme 200S. Hero MotoCorp will launch the upcoming 2019 Hero Maestro Edge 125 and the 2019 Hero Pleasure 110 on May 13.
The bigger Maestro - 2019 Hero Maestro Edge 125 was showcased at the last year's Delhi Motor Show alongside the Hero Duet 125 (Hero Destini 125). While the former is on sale in India, the latter is awaiting its launch. Hero Maestro Edge 125 was will be powered by a single-cylinder, air-cooled 124.6 cc motor. Hero has named the engine as 'Energy Boost' and it is capable of making 8.7 bhp of max power at 6,750 rpm and 10.2 Nm of max torque at 5,000 rpm. 2019 Maestro Edge 125 will also be equipped with Hero's i3S technology that will enhance the fuel economy. Maestro Edge 125 will get also get a front disc brake with Hero's CBS system.
The 2019 Hero Pleasure 110 might get cosmetic updates as well as a bigger engine. The Pleasure 110 will be powered by a 110 cc, replacing the 102 cc motor. The same 110 cc motor also powers the Hero Duet and the Maestro Edge. The motor on Duet makes 8.1 bhp of peak power and 8.7 Nm of peak torque. Hero will certainly retune the motor to fit the Pleasure's targeted audience.
The 2019 Hero Maestro Edge 2019 will up against the likes of TVS NTorq 125, Suzuki Access 125 and Honda Activa 125. The prime competitors of the 2019 Hero Pleasure 110 will be Honda Dio and Yamaha Fascino.
