- The 2019 Hero Pleasure will get major cosmetic changes
- Pronounced front body with silver inserts
- To be powered by the same 102 cc motor as seen on the current generation Pleasure
Hero MotoCorp - the homegrown motorcycle manufacturer's most pocket-friendly scooter - Pleasure was spotted completely undisguised on its TVC shoot. The images doing rounds on the internet show bulk of cosmetic changes on the scooter. Alia Bhatt is the brand ambassador of Pleasure and she was seen filming the commercial. The Pleasure was due for an update and the newly designed bodywork hints at Hero working comprehensively to introduce the 2019 edition of the scooter in the Indian market.

The scooter sports a new headlamp unit and a redesigned front body. The new headlamp might house the DRLs and also LED lights. The front end is now more pronounced with silver inserts on the nose with side indicator lamps. The body paint is also carried to the front mudguard and footboard. The scooter being used in the TVC sports no body graphics and looks clean. The side panels of Pleasure also get silver inserts.
However, there is no official word from Hero about an engine update for the Pleasure but we expect that it will be compliant to the approaching emission norms. The current generation Pleasure is powered by a 102 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled OHC engine churning out 6.9 bhp at 7,000 rpm and peak torque of 8.1 Nm at 5,000 rpm. It has an integrated Braking System which will be carried over to the 2019 edition as well.

The current generation Hero Pleasure sits slightly below the Hero Maestro Edge and Duet. The 2019 edition will receive a price hike of around Rs. 3,000. We have to wait for the launch to see if Hero decides to power the 2019 Hero Pleasure with 110 cc motor seen on its other products. An all-new instrument cluster is also expected on the scooter.
