The 2019 Honda CB650R is expecting an Indian launch very soon.
The 2019 Honda CB650R, sporting a neo cafe racer design was unveiled at the EICMA 2018 motorcycle show.
The 2019 Honda CB650R will have a launch in India soon after the success of the CB1000R and CB300R. The Honda CB650R design is inspired by its cousin, the Honda CB1000R. The circular headlamp is the highlight of this vehicle. It accommodates the ring-shaped LED DRLs and a rectangular LED design with the Honda insignia.
This motorcycle, unveiled at the EICMA 2018 motor show comes with an LCD instrument cluster and a muscular fuel tank. The exposed 4-cylinder engine adds to the muscular appearance, fully complemented by the short tail section.
The Honda CB650R runs on a powerful 649cc liquid-cooled 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine, similar to the one witnessed on the fully-faired CB650R. This engine comes equipped with a 6-speed transmission system that produces a peak power of 95PS and torque of 64Nm. The Indian version will come with a detuned engine capable of producing power of 84ps and torque of 60Nm.

Honda CB300R Gets the First Price Hike Since Launch
The Honda CB650R features a robust 41mm SFF (separate Fork Function) USD forks for the front wheels along with a monoshock absorber set up for the rear. Instead of the two-piston calipers for the front, the Honda CB650R will feature a dual 310mm 4-piston caliper for the front wheel and a 240mm single-piston caliper for the rear. Other safety features include a dual-channel ABS.
The upcoming Honda CB650R will compete with the soon to be launched KTM 790 Duke and the Kawasaki Z 650. The Honda CB650R price would be in the range of Rs 7.70 lakhs (ex-showroom).
