Hyundai experienced pretty good response with the Elantra sedan in India. The executive sedan is ready to come sporting a new guise and the model has been spotted without any camouflage. The sedan will be launched in South Korean market sometime in August this year. It will arrive in India sometime by mid 2019.
As it looks, the Hyundai Elantra facelift has received a completely revised front fascia. It gets delta shaped sharp headlamps with projector units and integrated LED daytime running lights. There is a large hexagonal front grille with horizontal chrome garnished slats. The front bumper too looks muscular and sculpted with delta shaped fog lamps at both ends. A subtly crafted hood adds visual appeal to the car.
The side profile boasts new design alloy wheels, subtle character lines and a nicely curved roofline. Moving to the back, there is a lip spoiler complemented by the sleek wraparound LED taillights. The rear bumper too comes with a revised appearance. Inside the cabin, it would sport a new touchscreen infotainment system, while the basic styling will remain intact. Seat and upholstery materials too will be updated.
On the powertrain front, the 2019 Hyundai Elantra facelift would be available with the same petrol and diesel engine options in India. In that case, it will continue with the 2.0-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel engine. Transmission options too would remain same.
