The much anticipated Geneva Motor Show to be held in March gets more interesting as Hyundai has released a teaser image of the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV, which is going to be one of its most anticipated models to be showcased at the motor show. The upfront view of the SUV gives a sense that Hyundai has gone for a design inspired by Hyundai Kona, a change from its earlier models. The headlights, which have been divided into two different sections, and the taillights of the recent model have got a very sleek design.
The flagship SUV from Hyundai was first launched in the year 2000, followed by the second and third generation models, the current model (3rd gen) was launched in the year 2013. The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV, which will be the 4th generation model, would certainly be one of the highlights of the Geneva Motor show.
The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV will be equipped with highly advanced rear occupant alert which monitors the rear seats. A rear-cross traffic collision warning equipped with an automated braking function avoids the risk of collision while reversing out of narrow lanes having low visibility. An updated window line, more prominent wheel arches, new roof rails with an integrated spoiler and a twin exhaust tips are some of the most prominent features which can be made out from the images, thus far.
The latest model, just like the previous three models is likely to be launched in India too, with both petrol and diesel variants. And if it does, it will be competing against SUVs like Jeep Compass, Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour.
