The bike weighs just 13.6 kgs, much lighter than the contemporary off-road bikes on full-size wheels. Yet this motorcycle offers full-size capability on all terrain in a durable and lightweight frame.
The power in the Kawasaki KLX140G is generated by a 144cc engine. It gets the electric start which is paired with the 5-speed gearbox controlled by a manual clutch. The full-size wheels allow the use of high ground clearance to a rider along with a tall seat height and the ergonomics of the Kawasaki motorcycle also allows tall riders enough ground reach. Besides, the KLX140G bike does not get any technical upgrades except for major changes in its design.
The Kawasaki motorbike would suit bikers across all ages and sits well in the Indian market as the country has a suitable environment, infrastructure and terrain for dirt biking. Kawasaki also explained how the air-cooled motor helped them to keep the chassis slim and lightweight without the requirement for radiators.
The 2019 KLX140G is priced at Rs. 4.06 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
