The Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 is expected to be powered by the same motor that is seen on the ongoing model. The 2018 Gixxer 150 gets its propulsion from a single-cylinder, air-cooled 154.9 CC motor and churns out 14.5 bhp of peak power and 14 Nm of peak torque. The 2019 Gixxer SF 150 will continue to be available with a single-channel ABS unit. Rest of the components like suspension and brakes are expected to be carried over from the ongoing model.
The Gixxer SF 150 has the same body fairings as seen on the spy shots of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. Even the front facade is also the same with all LED headlamps. The bike sports a split stepped seat instead of a single piece seat as seen on the ongoing model. The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 is also equipped with clip-on handlebars which will certainly take the riding triangle to a bit aggressive as compared to the 2018 edition of the bike. The LCD instrument panel is also new with white backlight instead of the orange one.
Other styling bits like the chrome work on the dual-barrel exhaust muffler also seems to be different from the previous model. The updated 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 will be priced a bit higher than the ongoing model that currently retails at Rs 98,076. The motorcycle will be up against the likes of Bajaj Pulsar 220, Yamaha R15 and the newly launched Hero Xtreme 200S.
