Suzuki Motorcycle launched its highly anticipated motorcycle - Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 at Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom-Delhi) in India. The bike is expected to offer superior build quality, advanced technology and premium styling. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 can be used for both sport touring and daily city riding. The motorcycle has received MotoGP inspired weight-reduction and friction-reduction technologies to provide the spirited rider with adrenaline-filled riding experience.

Powering the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is an oil-cooled (Suzuki Oil-Cooling System), single-cylinder 249 CC, SOHC, 4-valve motor. The fuel-injected motor churns out 26.1 bhp of peak power at 9000 rpm and 22.6 Nm of peak torque at 7500 rpm. The motor is linked to a manual 6-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are carried by conventional telescopic forks at the front and swing-arm type monoshock at the rear. The Gixxer SF 250 sails on 17 inchers with 110/70 section tubeless tyres at the front and 150/60 section tubeless tyre at the rear.
The anchoring department packs single disc brakes at both front and rear. The bike is also equipped with dual-channel ABS unit that assists the rider to anchor down the bike confidently. The seat height of the Gixxer SF 250 stands at 800 mm and it has 165 mm of ground clearance. The bike's kerb weight is 161 kg and sports a 12-litre fuel tank.
The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 features an all-new LED headlamp and chrome garnished dual-barrel exhaust muffler. The bike also sports a premium looking new digital instrument cluster. Other elements of the design include bronze engine cover, an under cowl and newly designed cast wheels. The bike is offered in two colour schemes - Metallic Mat Platinum Silver and Metallic Mat Black. At this price point, the Gixxer SF 250 is up against the likes of Yamaha YZF R15 V3, KTM 200 Duke and Royal Enfield Classic 350.
