Suzuki has unveiled the Vitara facelift ahead of its launch. The SUV gets cosmetic revisions at front and rear, while new features and technologies too have been introduced. Pricing of the SUV will be disclosed in September during launch. The SUV might come to India sometime by 2020 as a rival against the Jeep Compass, but there is no official confirmation yet. However, test mules of the Suzuki Vitara have been spotted in India several times fuelling speculation.
Speaking about the upcoming facelifted version of the SUV, it gets a revised front fascia that gets an aggressive looking front grille with chrome finishing, large projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights and a sculpted bumper as well. Moving to the side profile, there are sporty alloy wheels, visible masculine tone and black cladding as well. The dual tone paint scheme does a nice job in adding style to the SUV. At the back of the car are compact and sharp looking taillights with LED insert.
Not the exterior only, cabin of the car has received some changes as well. It comes with a perfect blend of sportiness and premiumness. The revised dashboard, updated seat and upholstery materials, sporty black theme add zing to the cabin. Suzuki is yet to disclose the details of the technologies and safety features available in the car, but expect it to come with high-end features.
The 2019 Suzuki Vitara facelift will be available with a 1.0-litre and a 1.4-litre Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine. The smaller engine is capable of churning out 109 bhp of peak power, while the bigger one will kick out 138 bhp of peak power and 220 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options will include both manual and automatic units, while the ALLGRIP four-wheel drive system will certainly enhance the driving charm.
