Toyota India has updated its flagship SUV, Fortuner and longstanding MPV, Innova Crysta with new features. The updated Toyota Fortuner is now available in the price range of Rs 27.83 lakh to Rs 33.60 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). On the other hand, the 2019 Toyota Innova Crysta range now starts at Rs 14.90 lakh and goes up to Rs 22.43 (ex-showroom pan-India). Both the models have received new interior features, which are offered with select diesel variants only.
The updated Toyota Innova Crysta gets an optional new ivory leather upholstery, perforated leather seats, embossed “Crysta” insignia, heat rejection glass and USB fast charging port. Innova Touring Sport variant gets USB fast charging and Heat Rejection Glass only. It is available in the price range of Rs 18.92 lakh to Rs 23.47 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). New features added to Toyota Fortuner include an optional new Chamois interior colour, seat perforation and heat rejection glass. One must note the additional features are available only with 4x2 AT, 4x4 MT and 4x4 AT diesel variants only.

First launched in 2005, Toyota Innova has maintained its numero uno position in the MPV segment. It is one of the bestselling models in the MPV segment in India with over 8,00,000 units sold since 2005. In 2016, Toyota gave its stellar MPV a copious makeover and a new pre-fix ‘Crysta’. Continuing its long run in the Indian market, Innova Crysta accounts for almost 40% of the total share in the MPV segment with over 2, 25,000 units sold since 2016.
Toyota’s flagship SUV, Fortuner has been going strong in terms of sales from the time it made its debut in the country in 2009. Dominating the premium SUV segment with around 70% of total share, Toyota Fortuner is undoubtedly one of the top-selling models in its space with over 1,50,000 units sold since 2009.
