All these styling elements resemble the Polo GTi and accentuate the sportiness of the new models. The range-topping variants ride on newly designed gunmetal-finish alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the duo boasts of the Volkswagen Connect connectivity suite as standard with the top-end variants. For those asking, Volkswagen Connect is transferrable across various company cars while it is responsible for trip tracking, driver behavior, and statistic tracking, location sharing and fuel cost monitoring. Both the cars feature Dual airbags, ABS, seat-belt reminder system, rear parking sensors, and a speed alert system as standard across the entire variant line-up.
Mechanically, the 2019 Volkswagen Polo Facelift is powered by the same naturally aspirated 1.0L petrol engine which develops top power of 76bhp. The diesel variants have the 1.5L motor at the helm of affairs with a maximum power output of 90bhp. The GT variants get the same BS-IV 1.2L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel with power outputs of 105bhp and 110bhp. These engines are expected to be discontinued before April 2020 due to BS-VI emission norms coming into effect. The 2019 Volkswagen Vento facelift also retains the same 105bhp 1.6L petrol, 105bhp 1.2L petrol and 110bhp 1.5L diesel engines. Volkswagen is offering a new 5-year standard warranty on the diesel variants of Polo, Ameo, and Vento as standard.
