2019 Volkswagen Sarvottam Skill Development Programme launched

Volkswagen continues to invest in inclusive steps towards educating its indirect workforce to boost buyer connect potential.

Sales and service experts of Volkswagen are qualified across levels such as Royal Blue, Royal Blue Plus and Sapphire Club.

Volkswagen’s Sarvottam project aims to pick talent from 117 Volkswagen dealerships with a focus on coaching, skill development and training.

Volkswagen India recently unveiled the 2019 Sarvottam skill development and recognition programme. With this initiative, Volkswagen aims to invest in objectives and steps towards imparting adequate knowledge and training to its indirect manpower and workforce, hence boosting their capacity and potential for an improved buyer connect and an excellent experience.

To comply with the rise in the use of automation in Volkswagen sales and service procedures, amidst a major transition in the automotive sector, it is crucial to educate and constantly bolster the brand’s first buyer interface, in order to reflect the values of Volkswagen’s global brand identity.

Europe’s leading carmaker Volkswagen continues to put efforts in order to upskill their employees or upgrade the workforce to yield better results, thereby to stay competitive in the market.

Similarly, Volkswagen India holds the Sarvottam Skill Development and Recognition programme as an annual initiative that includes mentoring and training of sales and service consultants, in terms of retail level.

Moreover, in a first-of-its-kind approach, Volkswagen shall associate with HR heads throughout the 117 Volkswagen dealerships to gather and exchange top HR practices, in order to motivate, retain and train employees across all the three aforementioned levels.
