Yamaha Motor India has launched the 2019 MT-09 naked motorcycle in India priced at Rs 10.55 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The MT-09 is a powerful Yamaha naked bike of the MT series and it will be flown in as a CBU for the Indian market and reach Yamaha showrooms likewise.
The dynamically naked motard-style Yamaha bike has been given small cosmetic upgrades in comparison with the outgoing MT-09 model. In terms of the body paint and shades, apart from the already available choice of Black and Blue-Black tone, it now offers the option of a new Red and White colour scheme.

This fiery new Yamaha hyper-naked bike comes equipped with an Assist and Slipper (A&S) clutch which provides enhanced chassis stability during quick downshifts before riding into curves. Also, the new MT-09 bike's 41mm inverted fully adjustable front forks and Quick Shift System (QSS) allows the rider to go faster and harder with support from its D-Mode adjustable performance and switchable Traction control system(TCS).
The new MT-09 motorcycle boasts of an aggressively styled twin-eye LED headlight and the brand new Yamaha offering oozes eye-catching buffed up looks, as the entire package flaunts a design language complete with sporty style combined with muscularity.
This new Yamaha performance machine is hungry for torque as it delivers an instant supply of raw and linear torque. The new MT-09 bike’s torque-rich, compliant CP3 motor with refined and enhanced power makes it the most exciting motorcycle in the segment.
At the rear, the MT-09 gets a swingarm-mounted licence plate holder with a lightweight single-sided aluminium stay, a rear LCD lamp and tail cowl which highlights the bike's agile looks.
The 2019 MT-09 is powered by an 847cc, liquid-cooled 4-stroke 12-valve DOHC inline-three cylinder engine, paired to a six-speed transmission that churns 111 HP and 87.5 Nm of peak torque.
The new 2019 Yamaha MT-09 super-naked bike comes equipped with one-way quick-shifter, cross-plane crankshaft and lightweight cast alloy frame. The new Yamaha MT-09 bike features an engine with three modes, ABS unit and traction control system.

Yamaha dealerships have commenced receiving booking applications. Yamaha’s 2019 MT-09 motorcycle in India will be pitted against the likes of the Ducati Monster 821, Kawasaki Z900 and Triumph Street Triple 765.
