Maruti Suzuki will participate in the 2020 Auto Expo.
It will put 17 models on display.
Among the new cars on display will be the BS-Vl Vitara Brezza and Ignis.
The Futuro-E Concept will also be unveiled.
Maruti Suzuki has always had one of the biggest displays at the New Delhi Auto Expo, and the 2020 edition will be no different. India’s largest car manufacturer has plans to put 17 products on display, from current models to facelifts to a concept car.
Among the vehicles on display at the Maruti Suzuki pavilion will be the Baleno, Dzire, Ertiga, XL6, Swift, WagonR, Celerio, S-Presso, and the Ciaz S – in short, all of the current range, excluding the Alto twins, the Eeco, and the Celerio X. In addition, there will be a Swift hybrid that is on sale in Japan.
There is one concept that will be unveiled at the event, the Futuro-E Concept. This is a coupe-SUV design that will fit in the same price range as the S-Cross, and take the Suzuki brand a little more upmarket. Judging from Maruti’s previous concept car unveilings at the Auto Expo, we can expect it to go to market in 1-2 years from now.
Maruti Suzuki also will use the Auto Expo 2020 to debut a new design language for utility vehicles. The pavilion will follow the concept of origami, the Japanese art of paper folding. The theme of the event for Maruti is ‘Mission Green Million’, which the company says is its effort to bring newer, greener customer-friendly tech to the masses that purchase Suzuki cars in India.
