- All-New Honda City to make the first appearance in India at Auto Expo 2020.
- Initially, the sedan could be offered with the existing BS 4 engines.
- It will debut several first-in-segment features in India.
The company might well also increase the overall dimensions of the new City sedan to increase the cabin space. The cabin is believed to feature a new digital instrument console and a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The dashboard will also be restyled with a notch higher-finish while other features will include wireless charging, sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, etc. to name a few.
Mechanically, it will be offered with a petrol and diesel engine with direct injection technology. Both the engines will be BS 6 certified while an all-new 6-speed manual gearbox will be introduced with petrol models. The diesel variants could come with a CVT unit as an option. In addition, a petrol-hybrid i-MMD (intelligent Multi-Mode Drive) might debut in India too.
