Spy photos of the 2020 Honda Jazz (Fit) show an undisguised front fascia.
It sports a fantastic curvier design to look like a second-generation model.
The unveiling of the vehicle will happen at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show.
Spy shots of the 2020 Honda Jazz (Fit) reveal the front design of the car. The Japanese manufacturer’s emblem is clearly visible on the front grille. The new model sports big and round headlamps as compared to the existing model’s sleek headlights. LED projector lamps add to the attraction quotient.
Honda is aiming to reintroduce the cute image of the Jazz. The vehicle is referred to as Fit in some of the international markets. The car will likely feature either a 1L turbo-petrol of a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine. Honda has confirmed that the 2020 Honda Jazz will come equipped with the i-MMD dual-motor hybrid system.
The Indian version of the Honda Jazz will most likely come with the turbocharged petrol variant. At present, the vehicle offers 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel engine options. These options will remain the same. The petrol engine has an 89hp/110Nm power/torque combination, whereas the diesel delivers a combination of 98hp/200Nm.
The fully electric variant of the Honda Jazz could also get a revival. Though it is a crucial Honda model, it does not match up with the Hyundai i20 or the Maruti Suzuki Baleno on the value-for-money aspect.
The Honda Jazz is now available in the price range of Rs 7.39 to Rs 9.33 lakhs. When the 4th generation Honda Jazz gets launched in India in late 2020 or early 2021, it should compete with Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Toyota Glanza. The Tata Altroz could also be a competent rival to the 2020 Honda Jazz.
