- New Front cascading grille gets a crisscross pattern
- 1.0-litre TGDi petrol engine from Hyundai Venue will make its way in i20 as well
- Will compete with the Toyota Glanza and upcoming Tata Altroz.
The new gen Hyundai i20 spy images have been revealed. The clearer front end displays a lot about the new styling of the car including the cascading grille. The new car had been spied earlier also but didn’t had any visible parts that time. With the latest spy shots, the new front carries similar bits from the newly launched Hyundai Venue and the upcoming Hyundai Kona.
The new i20 features a sharper hexagonal grille with a new set of headlamps. The grille is wider than before and hence makes the car look much wider from the front than it actually is. The headlamps now possess a set projector lamps along with DRLs. A tall triangular fog lamp housing holds circular lamps on either sides of the grille. Dimension wise, the new car isn’t showing any signs of changes and looks similar to the current model. It will still carry the sub-4meter dimensions to resist the extra payable duties.
