The 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 400 gets two limited-edition colour schemes.
Named ‘Metallic Spark Black’ and ‘Lime Green’.
Only ten units of each will go on sale.
Kawasaki has launched two new limited edition colors for the 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 400 in an effort to drum up more interest in the product. The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is priced just shy of Rs 5 lakh, at Rs 4.99 lakh, ex-showroom, India. The Kawasaki Ninja 400 colors are called ‘Metallic Spark Black’ which is a metallic gloss black and ‘Lime Green’ which is the gloss green color we usually identify Kawasaki Ninjas with. Only ten units of each color option will go on sale, and the offer will last until each run is sold out. There will be no extension of the number of units for the limited edition colors, and bookings for them will be shut once the ten bookings for each have been received by the company.
The Ninja 400 is powered by a 399cc parallel twin-cylinder engine that generates 44bhp and 38Nm and weighs 6kg less than the Ninja 300, at 168kg. It has a six-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch, and dual-channel ABS. A recent update has seen it get LED headlamps and styling that is inspired by the Ninja H2, including a small chin spoiler. So far, it has been available only in a single color option called ‘Lime Green Ebony’ which is a combination of lime green and black.
