- 2020 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R to be sold in limited units.
Kawasaki India dealers have started accepting bookings for the 2020 Ninja ZX-14R across the nation. It will be retailed at the same price of Rs 19.70 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) as the MY19 model.
The dealers also stated that the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R will be sold in limited numbers while deliveries are slated to commence from March 2020.
A few company dealers revealed that bookings for the ZX-14R will stay open for a few more days, until October 19. This is due to the reason that as soon as Kawasaki receives an order for Ninja ZX-14R, it has to place it ahead at the earliest so that the motorcycle can arrive in India before the BS 6 emission norms kick in from April 1, 2020.
The company's hands are tied too as the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R is a BS 4 certified model. The motorcycle will debut a new Metallic Diablo Black/Golden Blazed Green color scheme in the Indian market.
The older bike had predominantly green as a signature color but the new bike with Metallic Diablo Black/Golden Blazed Green dual-tone color scheme will have a lot more black.
Mechanically, nothing has changed and it will be similar to the MY19 model with power being fetched from the 1,441cc, four-cylinder petrol engine. The power output and torque performance will also be identical at 210bhp and 158Nm, respectively.
Sources have indicated that 2020 Ninja ZX-14R could be the last model of this generation of ZX-14R which firstly debuted in 2012.
