The new 2020 Mahindra XUV500 will be on public display at the 2020 Auto Expo. However, the official launch of the SUV will happen subsequently. Naturally, there is tremendous interest in how the 2020 Mahindra XUV500 interiors will look like. Spy images on the internet reveal astoundingly beautiful interiors to provide the highest degree of comfort to the passengers.
The upholstery of the seats is of the best quality to offer excellent cushioning. Side bolstering on the front seats endeavors to deliver better support to the driver as well as the front-seat passenger. The emphasis is on providing greater space for the passengers. In this connection, the middle-row seats appear to come with a sliding function. As the new SUV comes with an extended wheelbase, one can expect greater legroom for the third-row passengers.
On the entertainment front, the 2020 Mahindra XUV500 could feature either an 8-inch or 9-inch infotainment system complete with all connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The dashboard appears to have a flatter appearance and could get excellent padding in the form of soft-touch material.
The D-Cut steering wheel is a new addition to the Mahindra fleet. As part of providing the best levels of comfort, the 2020 Mahindra XUV500 could feature automatic dual-zone climate control. One can also expect the AC vents to feature blower controls to provide a higher level of convenience for the third-row passengers.
As it is, the vehicle has spacious interiors. The rear quarter glass is larger than what it is in the existing model. It enables the new SUV to get a more spacious ambiance. The new SUV will not only be more attractive than the existing one but also deliver a better quality driving experience. The suspensions could get some fine-tuning in this regard.
The BS6 emission norms will be in place by the time the vehicle is launched. Hence, the new 2020 Mahindra XUV500 will come with a BS6-compliant 2.0L diesel engine that could produce maximum power in the range of 180bhp to 185bhp. There is also speculation that the vehicle will feature a 2L petrol engine that works on direct-injection technology. In keeping with the current trend, the SUV could have an automatic and 6-speed manual transmission system.
One thing is sure, and that is the customer will have a great time driving the new 2020 Mahindra XUV500 when it is launched. Till that time, you can eagerly await its unveiling at the 2020 Auto Expo.
