Many memories of the 20th Goodwood festival of speed will be held by Ferrari as it was represented by a different collection of modern and classic cars, from the racing version to the road versions. The new car of Ferrari called the F12 Berlinetta made its first United Kingdom manifestation at the festival this year. People swarmed around the car, to get a glimpse of the world’s most powerful street legal Ferrari. But there were other cars too, like the 458 Spider colored with Ice White Pearl and an FF flanking the Berlinetta.
Also the F1 car called the F10 chassis no.285, which the famous driver Fernando Alonso drove to get 4 victories in 2010 was showcased and driven by the Scuderia Ferrari test driver Marc Gene. Marc listed that the Goodwood festival is one of his favorite times of the year. Another show up at the festival was the showcase of SP 12 EC, which made its debut as a private entry, the SP 12 EC was a designed based on the previous version of Ferrari known as the V12 512BB.
Ferrari was also well symbolized at the Cartier Style ex Luxe lawn, with two handpicked GT cars ranked out from the rest. The first one was a 1955 Ferrari 250 GT Speciale which was custom built for an actress named Ingrid Bergman, who was then Ferrari’s best client. It was also painted in a custom paint called Grigio Ingrid which was personally created by her. But she never took the delivery of the car. The next GT was a 1953 Ferrari 250 Europa Pinin Farina, in a very vibrant color mixture, touched in Bordeaux with a complementary Bianco sills and roof. This also was specifically built for a person who was actually a friend of Battista Pininfarina, the creator of the Carrozzeria Pininfarina coach builders, who was also one of Ferrari’s longest-stationed design associates.
With all these cars being displayed Ferrari had one of the most memorable moments, by peeping into the past. Ferrari is looking forward to the next year’s festival.
