India’s No.1 SUV manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M), has cataloged a moribund sales outline by 21% in the previous month of July 2013. The homegrown SUV giant sent over 37,096 automobiles out of the facility which is around 9963 units less than last years value of 47,059 in 2012.
M&M’s personal vehicle segment, which includes SUVs, MUVs, entry level sedan and the new hatchback Verito Vibe positioned retailings of around 15,530 autos in the previous month of July this year, which is also 6481 less than last years July month value of 22,011. Last year M&Ms commercial segment sent out 42,799 units which is more than this year's value of 34,490 units, that’s a decrease of approximately 8289 units.
The 4 wheeler commercial segment of M&M includes passenger vehicles like the Maxximo VX and goods vehicles like Maxximo Plus. Exactly 13,740 units rolled out, while 3 wheelers like Alfha sold 4,490 units in this year’s month of July. The export value was held at 2,606 units.
