Datsun India has sold around 3000 units of the redi-GO small hatch in just 23 days in the country, confirmed Nissan India. The budget-friendly brand of Nissan sold a total of 4,297 new cars in June 2016. Datsun redi-GO is available at 274 Nissan and Datsun sales & service touchpoints across India at an attractive launch price of Rs. 2.39 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). It lock horns with the likes of Maruti Alto, Hyundai Eon, Chevrolet Spark and Renault Kwid.

The Datsun redi-GO comes with an attractive 2 year/unlimited kilometres standard warranty. It also comes with another exciting segment-first - an optional warranty for 2 or 3 years/unlimited kilometres with free roadside assistance. This gives redi-GO owners the option of up to 5 years/unlimited kilometres warranty coverage. Underpinning the same CMF-A architecture as the Renault Kwid, it is powered by a 800cc 3-cylinder petrol engine which develops a maximum power of 53bhp and peak torque of 72Nm. The engine is linked to a 5-speed manual gearbox, while it returns a mileage of 25.17kmpl. Just to add to your knowledge, the redi-GO is nearly 25 kgs lighter than the Renault Kwid, despite sharing the same platform.
