New Hyundai Grand i10

Launch: 20th August 2019

The redesigned Grand i10 is a vast improvement on its earlier version. Expect changes to its design like new alloy wheels, wider grille, an innovative tail-light design, and sharper headlights. The refurbished dashboard and the new seats ensure greater legroom to enhance the comfort factor. This car features an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen entertainment system with Apple CarPlay support and Android Auto. The new Grand i10, with its powerful and BSVI compliant 1.2-litre Kappa engine. The pricing could be in the range of Rs 5 to 7 lakhs.

Maruti Suzuki XL6

Launch: 21th August 2019

Maruti Suzuki XL6, a crossover SUV based on Maruti Suzuki Ertiga positive feature is its Captain Seats that spruces up its interiors. The exterior body cladding along with a redesigned front and rear portions, give it a sportier look. The other exciting features include new headlights equipped with LED DRLs and a trapezoidal grille. This vehicle gets its power from the BSVI compliant 1.5-litre petrol engine paired to a 5-speed manual transmission system. A 4-speed automatic transmission system is on the way.

BMW 3 Series

Launch: 21th August 2019

The 7th generation of the BMW 3 Series has a Cluster Architectural Platform similar to the BMW 5-Series and 7-Series, you can expect a lighter, safer, and bigger version of the BMW 3 series. This new edition will feature the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, but with an additional output of 258 Bhp and 400 Nm of torque. The diesel version of the new BMW 3 Series will feature a 2.0-litre diesel engine capable of producing 190 Bhp power and a torque of 400 Nm. Expect both these variants to feature an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Kia Seltos

Launch: 22nd August 2019

Kia is making its grand debut in India with the launch of its SUV, Kia Seltos. Auto lovers had a glimpse of the concept form of Kia Seltos at the 2018 Auto Expo. The Tiger Nose grille is the USP of its design. The elegant nose and the sharp headlights along with its exquisite bumper designs make it the car to look out for on the Indian roads. Expect high-quality interiors with touchscreen infotainment, wireless charging, 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, and WiFi facility. Both the diesel and petrol variants will feature a 1.5-litre engine paired with manual, as well as, automatic gearbox options. A sportier version of the Kia Seltos with a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine and advanced features like paddle shifters and dual-clutch automatic gearbox will soon find its way on the Indian streets in the future.

Renault Triber

Launch: August 2019 (Second Half)

The seven-seater Renault Triber will soon make its way on the Indian roads soon. This sub-four-metre model is based on an advanced version of the CMF-A platform, available on the Renault Kwid. The flexible seating arrangement that can hold up to seven people is the talking point of the Renault Triber. The 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine with natural aspiration can produce 72 Bhp power and 96 Nm of torque. Expect a 5-speed manual or AMT automatic gearbox in the Triber.

The launch of these five new cars in August 2019 will bring the spark of life back into the automobile sector in India.
