Not too long ago Mercedes was running on establishing new models in the E Class family, chiefly with the V6 blocks. Now there is also information that the company has all along been working on a 9 speed conduction for the E350 CDI and the 9 speed is named as the 9G-TRONIC. Effective immediately the E350 CDI BlueTEC will be mounted with the 9G-TRONIC as a default transmission gearbox and is available to order. But the good thing is, the price has remained the same for the Estate and Saloon models even after the change.
The E350 which is available in both Estate and Saloon models will be fixed with the 9G-TRONIC as standard issue, which houses the 252 HP (horse power) V6 diesel locomotive. According to the engineers of Mercedes, the 9G-TRONIC feature higher number of gears and has a wider gear ratio, which helps to augment drive placate and allows a momentous development to be accomplished by renovating muscle into toehold. In other aspects the reduction in engine velocity, slightly progresses the NVH console plane and therefore will have every less clamor. This also shaves the engine noise up to 4 dB (decibels), which will reduce the strain on passengers.
The fuel economy of the E350 has also increased by a bit, thanks to the new transmission. The shift time has been reduced, which ensures a smooth ride with the lofty height of comfort. The 9G-TRONIC is so advanced that it can be driven at a 120 kilometers an hour in 9th gear with just 1350 RPM (revolutions per minute). Since the 9G-TRONIC has been issued as the standard transmission block for all the E350s. Buyers can expect an increase in mileage, decrease in sound and more power at less RPM, with state of the art Merc quality ride.
