Now that the first 5+2 Datsun Go+ MPV has been launched in Indonesia, it is quite evident that the model is going to hit the Indian roads very soon. According to the official website of Datsun, Indian auto market may have the opportunity to add another marvel to its MPV line early in the second half of the year.
Datsun has launched Go+ MPV in four variants; all the variants come with the same 1.2 litre powertrain that serves the Datsun GO hatchback in India. However, this powermill is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. So far as the output of the engine is concerned, the 1.2 litre petrol engine of GO+ MPV renders a maximum power of 67 bhp at 5000 rpm with a top torque of 104 Nm at 4000 rpm.
Talking about the features of the Datsun Go+ MPV, it comes with the same intelligent wipers and 'follow me home' headlamps that the GO hatchback features. All four variants of the model, namely, D, A, T and T Optional, come in 5 color options - Bronze, White, Silver, Grey and Black.
D, the base variant, has been priced at 85,000,000 rupiah (approximately INR 4,42,000), while A, the middle variant costs 92.4 million rupiah (approx. INR 4,80,480).
