Car rallies and expeditions are sure way to showcase vehicles, get free advertisements and draw maximum attention from the car enthusiasts.  Tata Motors have a special segment which arranges motor sports, rallies and expeditions.  They have come over with the unique idea of arranging a series of expeditions, called ‘Experience’, which covers all difficult terrain and wild tracks of the country.  Tata in collaboration with ‘Cougar Motorsport’ have arranged for six expeditions which tested the driving skills, patience and attitude of drivers and vehicles.  Five experiences are already finished. They were:

  • Himalayan Experience
  • Konkan Experience
  • Thar Experience
  • Kutch Experience
  • Nilgiri Experience

The drivers who took part in these five experiences have already covered wild stony terrain of Himalaya , sandy tracks of Kutch and Thar, scenic beauty of Konkan and Nilgiri.  The sixth experience is named, ‘the Jungle Experience,’ and will start from Delhi on March 23, 2013.  The route covers nearly 1235KM and will take the drivers into the tiger territory of M.P. through the national reserve forest of ‘Bandhavgarh, Pench, Panna and Kanha.’ The terrain is wild and not without danger.  Every year thousand tourists come to these national tiger sanctuaries to get a glimpse of tigers in their natural habitat. The rally is expected to end in M.P. at Pench on March 27, 2013.

Nearly twenty Sports Utility Vehicles made by Tata Motors will take part in this experience.  The drives will test their physical and mental strength, their driving expertise and strength of their vehicles.  The car manufacturers would be able to put through their vehicles through most stringent real life test, which showcase the actual strengths of their cars and also point out the weakness.  The drivers taking part in this new kind of experience may also have the opportunity to get a glimpse of tigers in their own habitat.  Tata Motors and their partners have worked diligently together to provide medical as well as ‘service support’ throughout the route.
