Agostini and McGuinness head to Leicestershire for Mallory Bike Bonanza
Snapshot: The three-day annual event that will start from July 11 and end on July 13, 2014 will witness some of the legends of the motorcycle world
An event that has something for every bike fanatic will kickstart at the Kirkby Mallory race circuit tomorrow. This year, the list of celebrities coming to this event will include the names of Giacomo Agostini, John Cooper, John McGuiness, Michael Dunlop, Phil Read, Paul Smart, Steve Parrish, Ron Chandler, Colin Seeley,Ryuichi Kiyonari, Rex Butcher, Alex George, Tony Rutter ,Trevor Nation , Sammy Miller and Lee Jackson.
The three day event is an event one of its kind where people get to meet the celebrities and also talk to various clubs that participate in the event. Also, people get to find spares and many other parts of their motorcycles through traders and various individuals. There will also be various parade lap sessions on both the days, including special parades on Sunday that will include the greatest motorcycle racer ever - Giacomo Agostini and his rival between 1965 and 1971 - John Cooper.
Friday will be dedicated to the Traders and Autojumble as the event will witness some forty stalls. At the Club Central, people will get a chance to meet and talk about motorcycles with various clubs ranging from one make owners to different riding groups and vintage bike owners. Saturday will bring track parades and demonstrations while Sunday will be all about the motorsport celebrities on track in their special parade laps.
Also present at the event will be Ivy Mosely - a 100 year-old avid bike enthusiast who will get to enjoy a parade passenger lap with former sidecar racing world champion Colin Seeley.
