All-New Bentley Bentayga V8 Launched at Rs. 3.78 Crores

Bentley, the British ultra-luxury automaker, has launched the Bentayga V8 at a staggering price of Rs. 3.78 Crores (Ex-Showroom, Mumbai) in the Indian market. It would be sold via Exclusive Motors, which happens to be the official Bentley Motors partner in India. The pricing may vary subjecting to exchange rate fluctuations and options. Bentley Bentayga V8 is powered by the new-generation 4.0L twin-turbocharged petrol engine which develops top power of 542bhp and peak torque of 770Nm, while mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. The claimed mileage for the V8 petrol variant is 8.77kmpl as the engine deactivates 4 of its 8 cylinders automatically.

Commenting on the launch, Satya Bagla, Managing Director, Exclusive Motors said: “Bentley is the world leader in luxury mobility and has been defining new luxury in the automotive world. The Bentayga V8 shares the same sleek lines as the other models in the Bentayga range, but adds some distinctive features to create an edgier exterior that matches the car’s dynamic feel. The newest addition to the range, Bentayga V8, is everything Bentayga was designed to be, balancing exquisite refinement with astonishing performance.” The SUV flaunts four round LED headlamps and large matrix grille at the front, while the rear end is dominated by huge haunches. The ride height has been raised to accomodate off-roading.

Also, introduced on the Bentayga V8 are sporting red brake calipers for the front and rear standard iron brakes. The calipers are painted in special, high-temperature resistant Tornado red paint. A purposeful black and chrome grille at the front is complemented by Bentley ‘twin-quad’ exhaust tailpipes at rear. Inside the cabin, there is a wood and hide steering wheel and a high-gloss carbon-fibre interior panel finish. Additionally, customers can specify hand cross-stitching, which highlights the interior styling lines of the seats and door panels, and there is the choice of the Bentayga’s four-, five-, or seven-seat configuration. Furthermore, cricket ball leather makes its debut in the Bentayga V8 and fits perfectly into the inspiring range of 15 interior colours and five colour splits offered by Bentley.

Bentley Bentayga boasts of an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system with class-leading navigation technology, a 60GB hard drive, and a choice of up to 30 languages. Rear seat passengers benefit from the introduction of the Bentley Entertainment Tablet – a removable 10.2” Android device with 4G, WiFi and Bluetooth. Customers can choose between three different sound systems for the Bentayga V8: Bentley Standard Audio, Bentley Signature Audio and Naim for Bentley Premium Audio. The latter is the most powerful system in the segment, with 1,950 watts, a network of 18 speakers and super-tweeters. The safety features include Park Assist, Night Vision, Head-Up Display etc. to name a few. The SUV also features Bentley’s Drive Dynamics Mode with eight modes: Snow, Grass, Dirt, Gravel, Mud, Trail and Sand Dunes.
