BMW India has started the production of all-new X3 SUV at the production facility in Chennai. The all-new BMW X3 would be launched next month on April 19, 2018 in the Indian market. The new SUV was earlier showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo in February, while it would challenge the likes of Mercedes Benz GLC, Audi Q5, Land Rover Discovery Sport and Volvo XC60. It would be introduced in both petrol and diesel fuel trims, while the pricing could be in the range of Rs. 55-60 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom).

We are confident that the all-new BMW X3 produced in Chennai will further increase our momentum in the Indian luxury car segment.” The all-new BMW X3 is lighter by around 55 kgs than the ongoing model, while it boasts of several premium feature such as touch-and-gesture-controlled iDrive infotainment system, a head-up display and 360-degree camera.

BMW Plant Chennai will start the local production of MINI Countryman in 2018.
