All-New Honda Amaze Launching Tomorrow

The all-new Honda Amaze compact sedan is ready to be launched in Indian market tomorrow after a long wait. Unveiled at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo back in February, the new Amaze has really amazed us with its overhauled design and features on board. Booking for the car has already commenced and it is all-set to throw tough challenge to the rivals like Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Tigor, Volkswagen Ameo and Ford Aspire. Expect the compact sedan to be priced aggressively.

The new Honda Amaze is comes sporting revolutionary changes over the previous model. It gets a flat and muscular looking front fascia featuring sharp headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, thick and wide chrome garnished horizontal bar and a bold bumper with black panel housing the fog lamps. Being produced at HCIL’s Tapukara plant in Rajasthan, the new Amaze gets sporty alloy wheels, sharp creases and redesigned C-shaped taillights as well.

Not only exterior, cabin of the sedan also went through major design and feature updates. It boasts a black and beige dual-tone theme, a layered looking dashboard with multifunction steering wheel, analog and digital display consisting instrument cluster, a large tab-like touchscreen infotainment system at centre console. The AC vents get silver accent highlighting them. There are wide range of advanced safety features along with ample space and comfort on offer. The new Amaze impresses us with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, ISOFIX child seat, reverse parking sensors like safety features.

Powertrain options for the new Amaze would be the tried and tested 1.2-litre iVTEC petrol and 1.5-litre iDTEC diesel engines. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a CVT as well. A CVT paired with diesel engine is expected to play crucial role for the success of the sedan. The compact is expected to generate good mileage.
