The all-new Lexus ES 300h has been finally launched in the Indian market at an introductory price of Rs 59.13 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Pan India). Being built on the all-new global architecture - K (GA-K) platform, the hybrid electric sedan has arrived in India just five months after its global debut at the Beijing Motor Show. Deliveries of the new ES 300h have already started across the country and over the next three months, the company will deliver each car in signature Lexus style - arriving on a flatbed with full tank of fuel, and delivered in an event crafted by Lexus based on their knowledge of the guest.

The ES offers refinement and luxury, in a sedan that is visually striking, and elegantly comfortable, and we are certain that it will continue to find favour with discerning guests in India," said N Raja, Chairman, Lexus India. Flaunting latest iteration of the company's signature spindle grille, it takes styling inspiration from LC coupe and LS flagship. The hybrid sedan gets the front grille in vertical pattern, LED headlamps, distinctive L shaped marker lights and sharply chiseled LED tail-lamps as standard. Lexus ES 300h would be available in 9 colors including a new shade of beige, named as Ice Ecru.
The interior cabin of ES would be offered in four color schemes, and three types of trim, including a new Rich Cream interior which compliments the deep brown dash and roof trim perfectly. It can also be availed with two shades of Shimamoku wood trim (black and brown) as well as light-colored Bamboo. As for features, the electric hybrid sedan boasts of several premium features like console mounted climate and audio controls along with heated and adjustable semi-aniline seats, longer wheelbase with extended legroom for all passengers, 17-speaker Mark Levinson Pure Play system, 10-airbags, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, Anti-theft system with break-in and tilt sensors.

Mechanically, the Lexus ES 300h is powered by a Euro 6 compliant new hybrid electric system coupled with a 2.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine which develops mileage of 22.37kmpl and a combined power output of 214bhp.
